We finished in second place in the Diamonds of Czech Business series

The fourth part of this year's Diamonds of Czech Business award series was held in Pardubice on Tuesday, 25 June, after Brno, Plzeň, and Ústí nad Labem. The event took place in the unique premises of the Aviation Training Center of the state enterprise LOM Prague, where awards were presented to the most successful companies from the Pardubice, Hradec Králové, and Liberec regions.After the Innovation Center of the Ústí Region, this was another unusual and symbolic location. The attractiveness of the event was increased by the fact that military premises are usually not accessible. The aviation training center prepared a unique program for the evening’s participants, including a flight in an Mi-17 helicopter, flight simulator tests, and piloting demonstrations in the Enstrom En-480B-G helicopter, which were performed by the center’s director, Jaroslav Špaček.

The Diamonds of Czech Business ranking evaluates the success of businesses based on objective economic data. The evaluation is conducted at the regional level, which eliminates regional differences, and includes the last three fiscal years, with weight decreasing by ten percentage points for each year. Companies with a turnover of between 100 million and 5 billion CZK must be at least half owned by Czech owners. The aim is to honor not only economically successful companies, but also those that contribute to responsible business in their regions.

We finished in second place

In this year’s Diamonds of Czech Business rankings, our company Dřevo complet, s.r.o. finished in the silver position in the Hradec Králové region. All award-winning companies in the Diamond Ranking this year received an original blue pyramid designed by Zdeňek Lhotský and produced by his Studio of Fused Glass Sculpture in Pelechov. Companies inducted into the Hall of Fame in Pardubice received a portrait of Tomáš Bata signed by photographer Jadran Šetlík.
